Doncaster All Abilities Basketball
The Doncaster All Abilities Basketball (DAAB) competition is one of our most successful programs, established and run by the local community for over a decade. DAAB has grown into a competition with 270+ players and 32 teams, catering for players of all abilities with a championship and 6 other divisions.
Playing competitive basketball gives young people with disabilities and disengaged youth an opportunity to develop greater strength and skills, make new friends, learn about teamwork and win a few trophies. The emphasis is on creating a supportive, social, inclusive and fun environment.
The competition is extremely popular and runs on Thursday and Friday evenings during designated seasons (Summer & Winter) and is open to young people aged 6 years and up.
Doncaster All Abilities Basketball is proudly supported by Manningham YMCA, mannigham City Council and is sponsored by Bendigo Bank.
Game nights are held each Thursday and Friday night of the season. Please refer to the current fixture for specific details for your teams matches (times, court number etc) on the Doncaster All Abilities Basketball website.
Please ensure you are familiar with the Basketball Victoria's (in-line with Doncaster All Abilities Basketball Association) Code Of Conduct Document.
Please wear your team playing shirt for every match. Important: Players must wear shorts without pockets for all matches (this is a VBA safety requirement).
