Stadiums and more
Manningham DISC is the largest highball facility currently managed by Manningham YMCA. The centre caters for a range of activities and consists of a two court stadium, a gymnastics hall, a multipurpose room and kiosk. The centre is situated on spacious ground with parking for 150+ cars.
The Sports hall consists of a two court stadium with provision for basketball, netball, badminton, volleyball and table tennis. The stadium hosts a range of activities ranging from children's development to senior sports. The stadium also hosts the Doncaster All Abilities Basketball Competition. This competition was developed in 2001 by a dedicated teacher of the Heatherwood school in Donvale.
Since then, the DAAB competition has grown in to a two hundred player, thirty team competition, with a championship and six other divisions. All abilities is run on Thursday and Friday evenings during designated seasons (summer and winter) and is open to young people aged six years and up.
Manningham DISC also incorporates a gymnastics hall which is host to BTYC gymnastics. BTYC operates this state of the art gymnastics facility consisting of sprung flooring, trampolines, foam pit and all the latest gymnastics equipment for competition and development.
Accompanying the two sporting halls, we have a multipurpose room suitable for fitness classes, meetings and presentations, whilst also being host to some educational and development programs.
Manningham DISC being one of the most utilised facilities has a number of different sports competitions and community programs. Currently at Manningham YMCA, we are developing new programs and initiatives for people of all ages and skill level. Keep up to date with these programs by subscribing to our e-news.

Manningham DISC is home to BTYC gymnastics, one of the countries largest and most prominent gymnastics clubs. Bulleen Templestowe Youth Club (BTYC) gymnastics was first formed in 1972, primarily as a physical education club for boys. The gymnastics club grew quickly and by 1974 catered for both boys and girls in makeshift facilities at Thompsons Road Hall Bulleen.
In 2000, Manningham City Council oversaw the construction of another purpose built gymnastic facility at Donvale. All gymnastic programs moved to the new facility part of what is now known as the Donvale Indoor Sports Centre (DISC), in March 2001.
In the eight years since moving to the DISC, participation in all programs has passed 2000 and continues to grow. The WG program is particularly well sought after with a waiting list of over 200 potential members. The club has always been well regarded in the gymnastics world with gymnasts represented in State and National teams, and with highly respected coaches and administrators.
You can contact BTYC through the BTYC website or by calling 9841 4773.
